Brochures, correspondence, minutes, financial reports, newsletters, printed materials, newspaper clippings, flyers, ephemera, and other administrative records of the non-profit Chicago Mural Group, also known as the Chicago Public Art Group. Much of the correspondence relates to fundraising efforts of artists and community activists. The collection includes issues of the journal Community murals (1980-1986), files related to specific murals created by the group, and materials of related organizations. The materials were compiled by Los Rosen, who served on the Chicago Mural Group Advisory Board and Board of Directors. The collection also includes a folder of Rosen's personal papers. Materials are mostly arranged chronologically.
